My four days in Bali summed up in a word - Bliss. Pure and total #bliss
Indonesia is a beautiful country and Bali is a little piece of paradise. The people are lovely, the sun is always shining and the landscape is breathtaking.
The night I arrived I fell in love with the villa I would be spending the next four nights in, the best part by far was the outdoor bath! Was heaven getting into that after the flight over. The first full two days were spent getting massages, facials, full body scrubs, a bit of shopping, yoga and meditation. I felt like I was on cloud nine, ready and excited to go to the Beautiful You Inspiration Day for my third day in Bali. That got me even more inspired and excited for my fourth and final day in Bali, which happened to be my favourite day of the year, my Birthday <3
The Beautiful You Inspiration Day was magically inspiring.
We heard from some amazing women speak about connecting with your intuition, being a soul leader and embracing your divine feminine. We also got a little creative hour to ourselves which was a standout difference between this wonderful event and other development days I have been to. Several speakers took us through a beautiful meditation. We were treated to an organic vegan buffet for lunch and a cocktail by the pool while watching the sun set. Connecting with all of the other Beautiful You coaches was amazing. Everything was perfect. My heart was filled with so much inspiration after each speaker, my biggest take away from each of them was:
Kate Reardon presented on using your intuition as a coach. She shared the point that “Your thinking-mind is limited to your conditioning”
This presentation blew my mind, in the best way. So many people spend most of their time in their thinking-mind and are making all of their decisions from that space. When we do this we are making decisions with limited knowledge and creating our lives through a limited system. This system is limited to our personal experiences, our beliefs, our individual conditioning. Kate spoke about how we all have the ability to tap into unlimited consciousness that is open, abundant and just flows, this is our intuition. When we step into this space the answers just flow, we can feel what the right decision is even if all ‘logic’ points in the other direction. I loved hearing Kate talk about this and so much more. My intuition is something I have been working on getting more in touch with. It takes courage to follow what you believe is right and when we all stand in our truth, following our intuition, we raise our level of awareness and presence and make the world a better place.
Melissa Sandon presented being a soul leader “Put yourself on stage and allow yourself to shine”
This presentation was beautiful, Melissa spoke about being a true soul leader and putting yourself in the spot light so your soul connections can find you. She made the point that “authenticity is the greatest commodity.” All we have to do is speak our truth and our vibe will attract our tribe. What I will take away from this is we have to heal the parts of ourselves that we don’t want to be seen, so we aren’t afraid to stand in the spotlight and be of service to our soul connections.
Divine Feminine Panel – Julie Parker, Jessica Kail & Freya Dwyer
This panel discussion was phenomenal! In a world where divine feminine qualities have been suppressed for so long it is beautiful to see so many women stepping up and not only embracing their own feminine energy but inspiring so many others to do the same. I was very inspired by this discussion and am really looking forward to exploring my own feminine energy and doing some embodiment work.
Overall, like I said before, the day was perfect.
My final day in Bali was a beautiful day. I enjoyed my birthday with a beautiful swim in the resort pool, the water was absolute perfection. I then had a divine yoga and meditation in the stunning outdoor studio followed by a 90minute hot stone massage. All of this before lunch time! I spent the rest of my day pool side reading, reflecting and relaxing before I went to the airport ready to go home.
This birthday was not significant in a traditional sense but it was significant to me. I turned 23 and the reason this age is significant to me is because 23 is my lucky number. Like many children when asked to choose a ‘lucky number’ I went with the day my birthday landed on. At the start of this year I could feel that 2016 was going to be amazing, a year for growth and adventure, I attribute this to me turning 23 this year. I feel ready to step up into my most amazing self.
The morning of my birthday I got up early and went for a short walk, as I was coming back to my villa I saw a snake sliver past the entrance. Naturally my thinking mind began to relay the thoughts we are so conditioned to think like ‘snakes are bad’ ‘snakes are dangerous’ so I panicked for a second, and then I remembered a beautiful story I was told the day before about snakes being a symbol for transformation. The panic dissolved and I admired one of this earths beautiful creatures. Snakes are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality and healing. A perfect reflection of my 23rd year in this birth-suit. Over the last 12 months I lost myself, found myself and now I feel more connected and inspired than ever before.
